Ragi Puttu Podi is a popular breakfast from South India, prepared by steaming ragi (finger millet) flour with coconut in a special puttu cooker/puttu maker.
Ingredients: ragi flour, cocoa powder, cardamom powder
Method of preparation:
1. Add required water and salt to Ragi Puttu Podi Double Horse and mix throughly.
2. Fill it into the puttu maker with coconut scrapings, layer by layer.
3. Steam cook (3-5min) till done and serve hot.
Serve with plantains, chutney, curry or sugar.

Ragi flour is most commonly used in the southern parts of India. It is used to make Ragi Puttu, poti, paratha, oatmeal (a paste with water and ragi flour is cooked and then enriched with buttermilk and salt or milk and sugar), bhakri (a kind of flat bread is made from ragi flour). It can also replace other flours for other southern dishes such as Multiflour Idli and Nachni dosa.
